⬇️ Here's a before & after example of one of my latest mixes ⬇️
For context, in this latest mix I ended up doing much more than just mixing:
1. The drums in the demo are from 1 single take, while the drums in the final mix are a composite of many different takes.
2. The bass guitar in the demo is a software instrument, while the bass in the final mix was live recorded.
3. The intro is longer in the final mix. The band requested I copy the guitars from the outro, reverse them, and add them to the intro.
All this to say I assisted with comping, recording, & arrangement changes, in addition to the duties of mixing:
